Become a Participant
Our mission is to develop a diverse network of skillful, informed, collaborative leaders who facilitate the renewal and connection of our communities. We invite people from all sectors of Whatcom County to apply –business, government, nonprofit, education, and community members at large. Contributions
By contributing to Leadership Whatcom you can help build a community that respects a variety of perspectives and promotes citizen engagement that transcends partisanship. Help us ensure Whatcom County will continue to enjoy the leadership and citizen engagement that has made our area one of the best places to live and work.

Funds support program operations, as well as provide for participant scholarships. Sponsorship levels include the following opportunities to help the program flourish:

Community Catalyst Sponsor: $5000.00 – support all program operations and serve as key catalyst to promote collaborative leadership and community engagement in Whatcom County.

Event Sponsor: $2000.00 – support key Leadership Whatcom events held throughout the year, Spring Community Reception and Team Project Presentations, Graduation and Alumi Event.

Program Day Sponsor: $1500.00 – supports costs associated with a session day, which  are offered at locations throughout Whatcom County.

Collaborating Sponsor: $500.00 – supports program administration and session day costs to keep our program accessible to many and at a quality of excellence we require.

Scholarship Support – donations of any level are appreciated as they allow us to offer up to 50% tuition assistance to qualifying participants.

Contributions are welcome via check or credit card (Mastercard/VISA) and are fully tax-deductible.  Checks should be made payable to the Whatcom Coalition for Healthy Communities.
